Débora Ávilla

He began his journey in dance from an early age. At the age of 11, she discovered the Modern Jazz classes taught by teacher Paula Careto, which motivated her to seek new horizons in this world of dance, and with whom she has collaborated ever since. 

In this way, in 2003, he attends the “Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa”, but it is in Madrid, 4 years later, that he finishes his training in Contemporary Dance, at the “Real Professional Dance Conservatory of Madrid”._cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

He highlights, in his apprenticeship in the artistic environment, the following personalities/choreographers: Paula Careto, Nilma Wilson, José Grave, Graça Barroso, Cristina Graça, Ruth Silk, Mark de Graef, Pedro Berdayes, José Reches, Cristine Tanguay, Sílvia Mira._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Professionally, she has worked and continues to work as a choreographer, choreographer's assistant and freelance dancer, in projects inside and outside the country, giving as examples: Portugal, Spain, France, USA, Canada.

Choreographer and Dance Teacher at Artemove for over 8 years, she has also been part of the “Technical Team” since 2016. 
 

With dual nationality, Portuguese and Spanish, traveling and discovering new cultures is one of the things he likes to do.
